Two blokes come in and something – instinct – tells her this is Moses and Vardaman. She goes back to the bar and tries to engage Med in conversation but it’s busier now and she’s not having much luck catching her eye and Med’s probably – definitely – avoiding it anyway.

So she just goes to the top end of the bar, stands next to the two blokes she likes for Moses and Vardaman and waits for them to notice her.
