JellyBread: The Evolution of a Novel

How Gary Raymond's new serial came to be.

It’s not long to wait now. On September 2nd, the first instalment of my new serial novel, JellyBread, will drop into subscribers’ inboxes, and start you out on a long and winding (and, hopefully, fun) journey through the life of a town that is a city that was a town.

On the weekend, I wrote a piece for Wales Arts Review on the evolution of the idea, and how it fits in - particularly the format - with my writing career to date. It should whet your appetite a little for the upcoming epic, but also will give you a bit of insight into what I’m trying to do, and what you might look forward to me trying to do.
